Mr. Mohamad Diab, Tecomsa‘s CEO and member of the Board of Directors of the Professional Informatics Association, attended the cooperation protocol MOU signing at BETT Event London, between the largest British Association for Educational Technology BESA represented by its President, Dr. Caroline Wright and the Professional Computer Association (PCA Lebanon), represented by its president, Mr. Camille Moukarzel and the MENA EdTech Alliance represented by Mr. Rabih Baalbaki, The founder of the alliance and head of the EdTech sector in the PCA association.
This cooperation is an important initiative between the two countries (Lebanon and the UK) in the field of developing educational technology. that serve humanity. This signing ceremony was in the presence of the British Minister of Exports, MP Mike Freer, represented by the Director of International Education at the British Foreign Office, Dr. Robert Daniels, and his deputy, Mr. Tony Sims and the Director of Education in Britain at DIT Simon Burke and the representative of DIT at the British Embassy in Beirut, Ms. Diala Michlawi and an educational delegation headed by Mr. Rabih Baalbaki which included Dr. Gina Al Badawi and Ms. Magye Al Khatib on behalf of the Makassed Association, Mr. Joseph NAKHLE on behalf of Edutech, the General Secretariat of Catholic Schools, Dr. Mona Itani, PhD on behalf of the entrepreneurial organization ShababLab from the American University in Beirut, and Mr. Ziad Monzer on behalf of the Interactive Education Technology Company IET and Professor Wissam Dackache President of Algocode, who represented Lebanon’s delegation to the world’s largest technology exhibition BETT.
