Tecomsa, Headed by its Chairman & CEO Mr. Mohamad Diab, held a rewarding breakfast – Iftar Gathering in Lancaster Tamar Hotel, under the patronage of Mr. Camille Moukarzel the president of the Professional Computer Association (PCA) in Lebanon, MP Nadim Gemayel the Head of the Information Technology Parliamentary Committee, MP Elias Hankash, the president of the Lebanese IT Syndicate Mr. George Khoueiry, and other heads of associations in the IT sector and technology. During the ceremony, employees of Tecomsa were honored and a number of experts who recorded professional successes and participated in the development of the ICT the sector in Lebanon.
Mr. Diab thanked the efforts of all the valuable figures in the information and communications sector from the public and private sectors, especially the deputies, associations, and trade unions. He stressed that “Tecomsa has been striving since its establishment to keep abreast of the digital development and technological revolution and is committed to providing enterprises with the latest and best-integrated technology solutions. He also proposed “the establishment of digital district in various governorates of Lebanon, and the introduction of the digital industry concept in all fields so as to market of Lebanon as a destination for international digital companies.”
Mr. Moukarzel in his turn, referred to the most important activities of The Professional Computer Association (PCA) in Lebanon. “we will organize the award of the best digital content in the Arab world for several categories, and it will be held in June, in the presence and participation of candidates from all Arab countries.”
He referred to “regional workshops that will deal with how to apply the law of electronic transactions and personal data, in Metn, Beirut and Tripoli.
